The Solar Star Gable Fan can be installed on the inside of your attic if you have current existing gable-type vents. This solar vent offers several advantages, such as appearance, performance, and ease of installation. The fan can be mounted vertically as shown, or horizontally in a ceiling.
The low profile, and versatility in mounting the solar panel virtually anywhere, makes this a popular choice. In the event you live in an area where restrictions prevent anything on the front of your home, this unit works perfectly to solve your problem. The Solar Star's sleek low-profile panel can be mounted on the back side away from street view. Another advantage of using a solar vent is the low operating voltage. Areas where volatile chemicals are stored, such as paint, pool supplies, lawn chemicals are perfect for this application. Solar Star motors are sealed to eliminate potential sparks from igniting vapors as they are vented out. Sealed motors operate much cooler and also provide a longer service life due to not being contaminated by dirt and debris.
